i definitely think minecraft won’t be the game for everyone in the end and that’s just how things are no problem but i do think *some* people who don’t get the hype of it just need to play with their friends and build a house with them. its also for doing things like this.
watching succession s1 is insane because they are all so normal. like yes they are evil out of touch rich people but they still resemble people with, like, social scripts they’re following. they celebrate thanksigiving. they play games. they go watch live music. they sing happy birthday. logan is nice sometimes and he and marcia clearly love each other. shiv has a real job outside of waystar, roman is in a long term relationship, kendall is somewhat competent at his job as in – he isn’t selling eternal life and making up magic numbers. the way this is a devolution story is so so so delicious. the roy kids were always immature but through four seasons they regress into younger and younger children, stuck in a house with an angry man, stuck in an attic together, their world getting smaller and smaller until they no longer remember they are adults. CEO is a meaningless title that somewhat resembles and echo of an echo of love. in the finale they will all try to climb back inside logan’s corpse, the metaphorical womb
